Gina Dowding wins ballot for chance to become first Green MP جينا dowding الاقتراع لينز فرصة ليصبح النائب الاول الخضراء
The Green Party has selected former Lancaster City Councillor Gina Dowding as the prospective parliamentary candidate for the new Lancaster and Fleetwood constituency. حزب الخضر اختارت مدينة لانكستر السابق عضو المجلس جينا dowding كما المرتقب مرشحة برلمانيه جديدة لانكستر وFleetwood داءره انتخابيه.
Gina has lived in Lancaster for twenty years and was a member of Lancaster City Council’s cabinet until she stood down in May this year. جينا عاشت في لانكستر لأكثر من عشرين عاما ، وكان عضوا في مجلس مدينة لانكستر مجلس الوزراء حتى انها وقفت الى اسفل في ايار / مايو من هذا العام.
Eight years ago Gina was one of the very first Green Party councillors to be elected to local government. قبل ثمانيه اعوام جينا كان واحدا من أول حزب الخضر اعضاء المجلس ليكونوا اعضاء الحكومة المحلية. Gina found herself in the national news in 2002 when she blew the whistle on Lancaster City Council’s secret decision to grant rate relief to Heysham nuclear power station. جينا وجدت نفسها في الانباء الوطنية فى عام 2002 عندما تمكنت فجر الصافره على مدينة لانكستر المجلس سرا ان قرار منح معدل heysham الاغاثه الى محطة الطاقة النووية. A very popular local councillor, Gina was re-elected with a huge majority - receiving nearly 60% of the votes in a five-way race for her city centre seat. جدا عضو المجلس الشعبي المحلي ، وجينا اعيد انتخابه مع اغلبيه هاءله -- تلقى ما يقرب من 60 ٪ من الاصوات في خمس طريقة لسباق لها مقعد وسط المدينة.
Gina has previously worked for 12 years in public health development for the NHS. جينا سبق له ان عمل لمدة 12 عاما في مجال الصحة العامة لتنمية القطاعات الصحية. She currently cares for her elderly disabled parents, and her two children. وقالت انها حاليا يكترث لها الآباء والامهات وكبار السن والمعوقين ، وطفليها. She lives with her partner and sons in central Lancaster. وهي تعيش مع شريكها واولاده في وسط لانكستر.
Gina said: “I am very excited about standing for the Greens again in the general election and am very optimistic about our prospects in this new constituency. جينا وقال : "انني مسرور جدا بالاثاره ازاء الداءمه للالخضر مرة اخرى في الانتخابات العامة ، وانا متفائل جدا لنا آفاق جديدة في هذه الدائرة الانتخابية. After our recent local election successes, we hold 12 district council seats in the constituency, the same number as Labour, and one more than the Tories. بعد الانتخابات المحلية التي اجريناها مؤخرا النجاحات ، ونحن نحمل مجلس المقاطعه 12 مقعدا في الدوائر الانتخابية ، اي العدد نفسه من العمل ، واحد اكثر من المحافظون. The Green Party has positive polices which will protect our quality of life now and protect our planet for our children. حزب الخضر قد السياسات الايجابية التي من شأنها حمايه نوعية حياتنا الآن ، وحمايه كوكبنا من اجل اطفالنا.
“We will be fighting this campaign on issues that are important to people in North Lancashire. "سنكون القتال هذه الحملة على القضايا التي تهم الناس في الشمال لانكاشاير. In Lancaster this means ensuring that development is appropriate to the size and scale of Lancaster and an improved plan for the Canal Corridor which provides local jobs; improvements in local services, particularly for older people; and more young people-friendly places and activities in town; and real involvement of local people in decisions that affect them.” في لانكستر وهذا يعنى ضمان ان التنمية هي مناسبة لحجم ونطاق لانكستر وخطة لتحسين القناة الممر الذي يوفر فرص العمل المحلية ؛ تحسينات في الخدمات المحلية ، لا سيما لكبار السن ؛ واكثر ملاءمة للشباب واماكن الانشطه في المدينة ؛ الحقيقية واشراك السكان المحليين في اتخاذ القرارات التي تؤثر عليهم. "
