`De westelijke Leiders zijn de Misdadigers van de Oorlog'

De vroegere Eerste Minister van Maleisië, Mahathir Mohamad, heeft weergalmd verzoekt dat Westelijke leiders worden belast met oorlogsmisdaden over de invasie van Irak.
Sprekend bij KeizerUniversiteit in Londen Mahathir, dat in bureau vanaf 1981 tot 2003 was, koos de V.S. uit President George Bush, vroegere Britse Eerste Minister Tony Blair en de vroegere eerste minister John Howard van Australië aangezien hij hen wil zien geprobeerd „in afwezigheid voor oorlogsmisdaden toegewijd in Irak“.
De gebeurtenis werd georganiseerd door de Stichting Ramadhan die een belangrijke Britse Moslim de jeugdorganisatie die voor vreedzame coëxistentie en dialoog tussen gemeenschappen werkt is.
Mohammed Shafiq, woordvoerder voor de groep zei: „Het was een kans voor studenten om een waaier van vragen over oorlogsmisdaden en de internationale situatie te zetten. Hij zei dat de mensen moeten ophouden dodend elkaar en gebruiksarbitrage, onderhandeling en bespreking als alternatief aan geweld, oorlog en het doden.“
Sprekend over de oorlog van Irak, concentreerde Mahathir zich op „duizenden stervend, de economische oorlog, de macht van olie en hoe wij sommige van deze hulpmiddelen konden gebruiken om een hefboomwerking tegen de mensen te hebben die landen aan oorlog“ begaan, bovengenoemde Shafiq.
De gebeurtenis werd ongelooflijk goed bijgewoond met meer dan 450 mensen en 200 moesten meer worden afgewezen.
Onder de berg van oorlogsmisdaden de Westelijke leiders zich schuldig maken aan omvat: -
Het onwettige gebruik van napalm en andere chemische wapens
Martelende opzettelijk en misbruikende gevangenen
Blokkerende hulpkonvooien
Dodende unarmed burgers, met inbegrip van het ontspruiten in familiehuizen
De westelijke leiders maken zich ook schuldig aan veel andere schendingen van de Overeenkomst van Genève, het Handvest van de Verenigde Naties, het Handvest van Nuremberg, de Internationale Wet en de Grondwet van de Verenigde Staten, met inbegrip van misdaden tegen vrede en misdaden tegen het mensdom.
De internationale wetsprofessoren hebben de aanval tegen Irak een „fundamentele breuk van internationale wet geroepen (dat) ernstig de integriteit van de internationale wettelijke orde zou bedreigen die op zijn plaats sinds het eind van de Tweede Oorlog van de Wereld.“ is geweest
De verklaring van Mohamad van Mahathir schijnt geldig te zijn aangezien het Internationale Misdadige Hof het volgende als internationale misdaden defini�ërt:
(a) misdaden tegen Vrede:
Namelijk, planning, voorbereiding, initiatie of het waging van een oorlog van agressie, of een oorlog in schending van internationale verdragen, overeenkomsten of verzekeringen, of participatie in een gemeenschappelijk plan of samenzwering voor de verwezenlijking van zich om het even welke het onthouden van:
(b) de Misdaden van de oorlog:
Namely, violations of the laws or customs of war. Such violations include, but not be limited to, murder, ill-treatment or deportation to slave labor or for any other purpose of civilian population of or in occupied territory, murder or ill-treatment of prisoners of war or persons on the seas, killing of hostages, plunder of public or private property, wanton destruction of cities, towns or villages, or devastation not justified by military necessity:
(c) Crimes against Humanity:
Namely, murder, extermination, enslavement, deportation, and other inhumane acts committed against any civilian population, before or during the war, or persecutions on political, racial or religious grounds in execution of or in connection with any crime within the jurisdiction of the Tribunal, whether or not in violation of the domestic law of the country where perpetrated.

ReplyI agree so many international laws were broken over the illegal regime change in iraq that it makes a total mockery of the very laws in place too stop violation of HUMAN RIGHTS ! . The leaders mentioned by the contributers above are totally correct . By those leaders breaking and violating those laws that are supposed too stop war crimes in the first place they effectively became WAR CRIMINALS themselves and by said laws they should be tried in the HAGUE!!! .

Reply1 agree with the above comments, there are many more names that should be added to the list, especially Henry Kissinger! But how can any of these criminals be brought to Justice when they & their cronies not only control the system but change the laws & its definitions to suit their own agenda. What will be their excuse for invading Iran? Lies & more lies

ReplyThe conclusion is a foregone one too. They are all three, War Criminals.
As an Australian I am completely supportive of John Howard, George Bush and Tony Blair being charged with the ultimate War Crime, which is an unprovoked war of aggression. Everything else follows on from there.
May it happen soon, and may it at least happen in our lifetimes.

ReplyThe ICC prosecutors need to take heed, unless they want to be described as Western political stooges. The likes of John Scarlett are no less guilty and must be prosecuted.
The ICC has a habit of going after minor functionaries from smaller nations, and is used by the West as another weapon to punish noncompliance with their demands.
The ICC needs to regain its credibility.

ReplyI would agree with all those statemants that have gone before . I find it incredulous that if we the ordinary man and woman on the street were to kill a single person then we would face a severe punishment and thats how it should be , but the politicians mentioned above are responsible for wholesale genocide on a massive scale and that includes women and children . I am affraid that the system protects itself and these people will get away with it and that makes me sick . At least the ordinary people are seeing these warmongers for the animals that they truly are and that the best we can hope for is that history remembers them very unkindley! . But that of course will not bring back the dead on both sides .

ReplyThe former Prime Minister, Mahathir Mohamad is absolutely right, Bush, Blair and their cronies need to be arrested, tried and punished for their crimes against humanity.
It is perversely ironic that the Americans were the major players in the War Crime Tribunals at Nuremberg after the Second World War and from that, came the International Agreements of what constitutes a War crime and these leaders are completely guilty by their corrupt actions.
Whilst I would prefer to see no more Nuclear weapons, I do not fear Iran having a nuclear capability, but I do fear Bush who is much more dangerous.

Too bloody right. John Howard, George Bush and Tony Blair must be charged with War Crimes and Crimes against Humanity if we are to return to and maintain integrity in International Law and International norms of justice, fairplay, all of the protocols amd established conventions.
Mahathir is a gladiator for peace as is Jimmy Carter.
