We use Dell - Dual Core, Dual Xeon, Linux RAID Servers
CPU Power
All accounts are setup on new Dell Dual Core, Dual Xeon CPU servers.
Each server has 4 Xeon CPU cores running at 3.2 Ghz with 4 Gigabytes of ECC RAM.That means high levels of CPU and memory resources are available to your website, resulting in a responsive, fast website, even sites with heavy PhP and MySQL content.
Uptime, Redundancy and Data Security
Each server has a RAID hard disk cluster. The RAID system is a redundant failover system that prevents downtime and dataloss as a result of a hard disk problem, by mirroring data in real time to several disk drives in the cluster.
We also do a daily backup to a separate backup server, mainly for the benefit of our clients should they need an older backup. We even keep weekly and monthly backups. At any one time there is normally 5 copies of your data on 3 separate hard disk drives across 2 servers.
If a server develops a hardware problem we can swap out the RAID hard drives from the problem server and put them into a standby server with a few minutes. All possible failures have been planned for.
High uptime levels with high resource availability for websites have been the priorities in the design of the entire system.
All servers are load balanced across our network and run at a low average load level with limited account stacking on each server. As our servers have 2 or 4 CPU’s, issues related to CPU over usage are almost never a problem.
Server software is updated on a daily basis with security patches and upgrades.
We run advanced firewall and strict, professionally setup security policies designed to ensure maximum system security.
We not allow the hosting of adult content. Additionally we do not allow “Warez” software pirating sites or Bit Torrent tracking sites. This decision helps to prevent our IPs from being blocked (i.e kept clean) and ensures constant fast network and server performance.

We’re paying £15.99 a month to Fasthost and don’t get half this stuff. 50 email addresses? Fasthost only give us 15! They give us 10g of web space and only 300mb of database space. They want to charge us an extra £15 a month for just 150mb extra. I think it’s time we moved to RINF. |

Does this include a website builder feature for people not so well versed in building a website? Is it pronet Hosting? There seem to be a huge anount of tutorial features with pronet hosting that are rather confusing to a newbie. Is there a simple website builder feature or not? And I do not like paypal. Can you pay by credit card? |

My website has just been taken down by freewebs corporation in America. I have no freedom of speech because I caught a nusing home committing human rights violations. I would like the web master here to grant me his hosting so I can put the site back up. Please let me know asap. Thanks. |

Now I do think the webmaster here is being unfair to us. Essentially it is none of his business who owns any website here or who pays for it. A webmaster that is concerned about free speech has really only a primary concern that he will not be sued and therefore understands that he cannot be sued once his address is not known. |

We would like to know when Mr Meaney, the webmaster will either put up or web hosting or return to us our money that we paid him via paypal. Is the webmaster a thief or just a little paranoid? |

I pay £28 per quarter currently at freola and don’t even get as good as the Basic package at RINF.
I will now be paying £12 and can have a much easier way of publishing too.
Thanks Rinf and all your dedicated people.
