New tests conducted by police yet again prove an increasing number of surveillance systems are unreliable. الجديد ان التجارب التي اجرتها الشرطة مرة اخرى يثبت عدد متزايد من نظم المراقبة لا يعول عليها.

200 people were enrolled to test CCTV face recognition software on three systems which failed to recognise 8 out of 10 people, even when the system was fed images of people standing still - one of the easiest settings often used to suggest the software is reliable. 200 شخصا المسجلين لاختبار الدوائر التلفزيونيه المغلقه مواجهة برمجيات التعرف على الانظمه الثلاثة التي فشلت في التعرف على 8 من اصل 10 اشخاص ، وحتى عندما كان نظام تغذية صور الداءمه للشعب لا يزال -- واحدة من اسهل اعدادات وغالبا ما تستخدم لتوحي البرمجيات الموثوقه.

The tests were conducted on software produced by Cognitec, Bosch and Cross Match. وقد اجريت اختبارات على البرمجيات التي تنتجها cognitec ، بوش وعبر المباراة.

The federal police in Germany who conducted the test are citing “bad lighting” as the reason for the failure and required the test subjects to be fitted with RFID tags to help with the identification process. الشرطة الاتحادية في المانيا الذي اجرى الاختبار هي مستشهده "سيئة الاضاءه" هو السبب في فشل والمطلوب الاختبار المواضيع التي سيتم تركيبها مع بطاقات RFID للمساعدة في عملية تحديد الهوية.

The final test report rightly advises against the use of the system and suggests it only be in use with the cooperation of the person being checked by the biometrics software. تقرير الاختبار النهائي بحق ينصح بعدم استخدام النظام وتقترح عليه ألا يكون في استخدامها بالتعاون مع الشخص الذي يتم تفتيشها من قبل البيولوجيا الاحصاءيه البرمجيات. Currently the researchers believe that 23 false alarms per day would be an acceptable amount if only 1 or 2 real criminals were caught per week. حاليا ، ويعتقد الباحثون ان 23 انذارات كاذبة يوميا سيكون مقبولا لو كان المبلغ سوى 1 او 2 المجرمين واقعة حقيقية اسبوعيا.

Such use would erode public trust in the system and is therefore being put on hold for the moment. هذا الاستعمال من شأنه ان يضعف ثقة الجمهور في النظام وبالتالي يتم تأجيل عقد من أجل لحظة. With the right amount of light the systems only generated 0.1 per cent of false alarms by failing to recognize 4 out of 10 people, which is thought to be an acceptable rate for police work. مع الحق في كمية ضوء النظم ولدت فقط 0،1 في المائة من الانذارات الكاذبه عن طريق عدم الاعتراف 4 من اصل 10 اشخاص ، والتي يعتقد ان سعر مقبول لعمل الشرطة. Use of such systems is massively invasive as they can automatically retrieve personal information stored on a central database within seconds. استخدام هذه النظم واسع الغازية لانها يمكن ان يسترجع تلقائيا المعلومات الشخصيه المخزنه في قاعدة بيانات مركزية في غضون ثوان.
