Legalise Cannabis Alliance | A BREAST cancer victim made medical history recently, as the first person in Scotland to be prescribed cannabis as a treatment for chronic pain. Former National Health Service nurse Jeanie Rae, 57, has been taking a purified extract of the controversial drug to treat the agonising nerve damage in her right arm caused by an operation and radiotherapy to beat her cancer. السابق لداءره الصحة الوطنية jeanie رأى ممرضة ، و 57 ، وقد تم اتخاذ منقاه مقتطفات من المخدرات للجدل لعلاج الاعصاب agonising الضرر في حقها في الذراع التي تسببها العملية والعلاج بالاشعه لسرطان يضربها.

“Before, the pain was totally restricting my life and what I could do,” said the mother of two. Canada recently became the first country in the world to approve a cannabis-based painkiller when health bosses gave Sativex the green light for use. كندا في الآونة الأخيرة وأصبحت أول بلد في العالم ان توافق على القنب على اساس painkiller عندما القى رؤساء الصحة sativex الضوء الاخضر للاستعمال.
It was given approval for the symptomatic relief of pain in MS sufferers, and the UK’s medicine authorities are currently considering a similar application. حصل على موافقة من اعراض لتخفيف الالم في الذين يعانون من مرض التصلب العصبي المتعدد ، والمملكه المتحدة من الادوية السلطات تنظر حاليا في طلب مماثل. Doctors hope the drug will then be approved for prescription for other types of chronic pain. الاطباء الامل في المخدرات بعد ذلك وافقت لالوصفه لانواع اخرى من الآلام المزمنه.

Fears that the psychotic effects of the drug could lead to long-term mental illnesses such as schizophrenia caused anti-drug campaigners to call for a reversal of the legislation. مخاوف من ان ذهاني من آثار المخدرات يمكن ان يؤدي الى المدى الطويل والامراض العقليه مثل الفصام تسبب فى مكافحة المخدرات فى حملة تدعو الى عكس مسار هذا التشريع.

A recent study by researchers at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland found even cannabis-based medicines used for pain relief can cause symptoms such as paranoid delusions and severe anxiety. دراسة حديثة اجراها باحثون في جامعة لوزان في سويسرا القنب حتى وجدت على اساس من الأدوية المستخدمة لتخفيف الالام يمكن ان تسبب اعراضا مثل المذعور الأوهام والقلق الشديد.
But Dr Mick Serpell, the consultant who led the Sativex clinical trial at Gartnaval, believes the drug could help patients with few other choices. ولكن الدكتور ميك serpell ، الخبير الاستشاري من قاد sativex التجارب السريريه في gartnaval ، ويعتقد المخدرات يمكن ان يساعد المرضى الذين يعانون من قلة الخيارات الاخرى.
