It happens almost every time. انه يحدث تقريبا في كل مرة. When a study is published linking a workplace chemical to serious disease, a scientist working for the industry disputes the findings. Product defence المنتجات الدفاع

In field after field, year after year, conclusions that might support regulation are always disputed. في ميدان بعد ميدان ، سنة بعد سنة ، والاستنتاجات التي يمكن ان تدعم تنظيم دائما المتنازع عليها. While much of the media has learned to be sceptical about manufactured uncertainty in the climate debate, less public attention is trained on the pervasive use of doubt-for-hire in other industries whose products threaten the health of workers and consumers. وفي حين ان الكثير من وسائل الاعلام وعلم ان نشك المصنوعه من عدم اليقين في مناخ المناقشه ، وأقل من الاهتمام على المستوى العام هو تدريب على استخدام تفشي شك - للإيجار - في منتجات الصناعات الاخرى التي تهدد صحه العمال والمستهلكين.

In the Clinton administration, I served as US Assistant Secretary for Environment, Safety, and Health in the Department of Energy ( DOE ), the chief safety officer for the nation’s nuclear weapons facilities. في ادارة كلينتون ، عملت الولايات المتحدة مساعد الوزير لشؤون البيئة والسلامة والصحة في وزارة الطاقة) ، ورئيس لموظف سلامة الامة مرافق الأسلحة النووية. After leaving the government, I was able to obtain a collection of secret documents which showed that the beryllium industry has run a 30 year campaign industry attacking any study that questioned the old, out-of-date OSHA standard. وبعد ان ترك الحكومة ، وقد تمكنت من الحصول على مجموعة من الوثائق السرية التي دلت على ان البريليوم صناعة إدارة الحملة الصناعة 30 سنة الدراسه إن الاعتداء على أي تساؤل القديمة ، التي عفا عليها الزمن منظمة الامان والصحة القياسيه.

Chromium 6 is another industrial chemical featured in Doubt is Their Product. الكروم 6 كيمياءيه صناعيه اخرى وردت في شك هو المنتج. For more than five decades, we have known chromium 6 is a powerful lung carcinogen. منذ أكثر من خمسة عقود ، لدينا هو معروف الكروم 6 قوية من مسببات السرطان في الرءه. I report on corporate efforts to manufacture uncertainty about asbestos, lead, vinyl chloride, diacetyl, and a host of other chemicals. اقدم تقريرا عن الجهود الراميه الى شركات تصنيع عدم اليقين بشأن الاسبستوس ، والرصاص ، وكلوريد الفينيل ، diacetyl ، ومجموعة من المواد الكيمياءيه الاخرى.

Doubt is their product is filled with never before published documents, like the never-published letter from the medical director of DuPont stating that 100 per cent of the men who made beta-naphthylamine ( BNA ) at one factory developed bladder cancer [3]. شك هو منتج مليءه ولم يحدث من قبل ان الوثائق التي نشرت ، على غرار أبدا - نشرت رسالة من المدير الطبي لدوبونت ان نسبة 100 فى المائة من الرجال من تقدم بيتا - نفتيل الامين (bna) في احد المصانع المتقدمه سرطان المثانه [3]. In 1977, “Building 6: The Tragedy at Bridesburg,” by Willard S. Randall and Stephen D. Then you report that 450 workers at the plant got work related bladder cancer. ثم لك ان التقرير 450 عامل في المصنع حصل على الاعمال المتعلقة سرطان المثانه. It seems to me that persons like David Michaels do not acknowledge the tenet of toxicology, “dose makes the poison”. ويبدو لي ان الاشخاص مثل ديفيد مايكلز لا تعترف تينيت للعلم السموم ، "يجعل من جرعة السم". There is a threshold exposure rate, dose, for every carcinogen/person pair, below which the person’s immune system will protect him from the carcinogen. وثمة عتبة التعرض معدل الجرعه ، ولكل مادة مسرطنه / شخص الزوج ، ادناه الشخص الذي يحمي الجهاز المناعي له من مسببات السرطان.
