UK must pursue war crimes investigations英國必須追求戰爭罪行調查
Amnesty International UK today expressed disappointment that despite six months of investigation, the United Kingdom authorities have not been able to amass sufficient evidence to determine whether it is possible to mount a successful prosecution of a Sri Lankan commander suspected of torture, hostage taking and war crimes. Under international law, the UK must conduct prompt, thorough, independent and impartial investigations of allegations of torture, hostage taking and war crimes, including child recruitment and the use of child soldiers.根據國際法，英國必須進行迅速，徹底，獨立和公正的調查酷刑的指控，劫持人質罪和戰爭罪，包括兒童招募和使用兒童兵。
