Il Monk muore dal blocco cinese dell'alimento

Un monk buddista è morto di inedia dovuto un blocco da 12 giorni di alimento e l'acqua ai monasteries importanti a Lhasa dalle forze del Chinese, tibetani nel exile ha segnalato mercoledì. Lama Thokmey ha morto lunedì nel monastery di Ramoche a Lhasa, secondo il centro tibetano per i diritti dell'uomo e la democrazia (TCHRD).
I militari cinesi non hanno permesso l'alimento e l'acqua nel monastery dal 14 marzo e non infornano il gas lacrimogeno in esso frequentemente, il TCHRD detto, citando le fonti certe. Molti monasteries nel Tibet affrontano le scarsità di alimento, l'acqua, la medicina così come le limitazioni su movimento, Thursay segnalato DPA via BuddhistChannel.tv.

The European Union on Tuesday urged China to stop using force against Tibetan protesters and to lift restrictions to movement and information. Slovenia’s Ambassador Andrej Logar, who currently represents the seven-nation bloc at the UN body, told the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, “We urge Chinese authorities to refrain from using force against those involved in unrest and call on demonstrators to desist from violence.”
