I think one of the major problems that face our decision process is that of the mainstream media. How much time do they give to other political parties than the biggest? None.

It's the same here in the UK. We know about the 3 main parties, and the Green party is beginning to get a look in. Am I aware of all the different options when voting? To be honest, no - not right now. It's up to us to inform ourselves and thats what voting should be about - an informed choice.

I guess that there are other factors too. For example, the amount of funding that a party gets (for promotion, etc) and other peoples attitude of "they won't get many votes, they won't get in so I won't vote for them".

As far as freedom goes, I believe that you make of it what you want. If you want to see yourself as having a lack of freedom, than so be it. However, choices are out there. It's your choice if you want to make that choice or not!</description>
