100 Year-Old Family-Owned Rug & Carpet Cleaning Company Returns to Naperville

Naperville, IL – Koshgarian Rug Cleaners, Inc., a family-owned and operated business since 1906, announces the opening of a new location in Naperville at 500 W. 5th Avenue. The new store is scheduled to open the first week of August.

Koshgarian Rug Cleaners closed its previous Naperville location in 2007 due to a restructuring of operations. “In 2007, we were on the verge of relocating our Naperville store when the economy slowed down,” says owner Chuck Koshgarian. “We decided to wait and found 2010 to be a perfect time to come back to Naperville.”

With the Naperville location, Koshgarian Rug Cleaners hopes to better serve customers by offering a convenient drop-off location for area rugs. “Because of the cost savings, some of our customers prefer to drop off their area rugs for cleaning. This will make it more convenient for local customers, who have had to drive to our Hinsdale location. We have a strong customer base in and around Naperville, and we need to be here. We are bigger and better, and are excited to be back.”

Koshgarian Rug Cleaners has been cleaning rugs and carpets since brothers Hagop and Mihron Koshgarian opened for business in 1906 in a two-story home in LaGrange, IL. Over the years, the family-operated business has flourished. By the mid-1950s, Koshgarian Rug Cleaners opened a state-of-the-art cleaning plant in Hinsdale, which remains the only operational plant in the western suburbs today.

Koshgarian Rug Cleaners’ reputation for excellent customer service has established a loyal customer following that trusts them for handling even the most delicate oriental rugs and upholstery jobs.

“Customer service is what has built our business today,” says Koshgarian. “My grandparents insisted on dedicating the business to the customer. My father, Herbert, continued that tradition, as I do today.”

The Naperville location will be open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pick-up and delivery service for area rugs is also available.
