The OFT would not have gone public with this if there were not a grain of truth in this . We are struggling in the UK as inflation is rising the fastest that it has done since the early 1990s according to some reports and living in the UK myself i can say that i have seen my food shopping rise significantly in the past 6 months . This is just another way of the MULTI-NATIONAL CORPORATIONS of taking advantage of the ordinary man and woman on the street , if its not the GOVERNMENT screwing us into the ground with thier taxes its the MEGA-CORPS that have an almost perfect monopoly on us , and in some ways its our own fault as we continue to pay these ridiculous prices that the MEGA-CORPS impose on us . Its about time that we realised that as consumers that we have POWER and we should use that POWER by not buying overpriced big named brands , would it realy kill us if we did not buy the big brand names and instead went for the cheaper alternative . The big brands would soon realise the message in fact the only language that they understand e.g. MONEY and PROFITS! . They would soon understand that message FAST and the prices would eventualy be greatly reduced . We have POWER and its about time we used it! .
