Progressive Radio News Hour Guests for September 27, 28, and 29, 2013
Friday, September 27 at 10AM US Central time: Paul Craig Roberts
Roberts was former Assistant Treasury Secretary under Ronald Reagan, a Wall Street Journal Associate Editor, and holder of numerous academic appointments, including at Georgetown University’s Center for Strategic and International Studies.
He now prominently criticizes destructive, repressive state policies. They harm people everywhere.
Major world and national issues will be discussed.
Saturday, September 28 at noon US Central time: Denis Rancourt
Rancourt is a distinguished tenured Professor of Physics, a recognized expert in his field, and an Environmental Science Researcher at the University of Ottawa, Canada.
Yet he was persecuted, unfairly fired, and barred from campus. Doing so constituted a gross violation of his academic freedom, tenure, stature, and support for human rights, civil liberties and equal justice.
Major world and national issues will be discussed.
Sunday, September 29 at noon US Central time: Ellen Brown
Brown is a civil litigation attorney, distinguished author, and frequent writer on financial issues.
She heads the Public Banking Institute (PBI). It’s an initiative to return money power to the people where it belongs.
Her new book is an invaluable Web of Debt sequel. It comes at a critical time. It’s titled “The Public Bank Solution: From Austerity to Prosperity.”
Privatized money control assures speculation, booms, busts, inflation, deflation, instability, crises, recessions, depressions, deprivation and despair.
Public banks work as intended. Inflation-free prosperity follows. It’s a “practical, proven approach.” It works the same way everywhere.
It’s the antidote to corrupted, dysfunctional privatized banking.
