НАТО зондирует афганское злоупотребление `detainee'

Усилие NATO-водить в Афганистане на понедельнике сказало оно расследовало рапорт что США и афганские воины связали detainee к воинскому кораблю и угрожало волочить его через дорогу.
Один воин США и неспецифицированное количество афганских военнослужащих были suspended после немецкой кассеты, фокуса, сообщенного случай 10-ое июня в провинции Ghazni.
Были сообщены, что угрожали воины также семьи подозреваемого.
«Мы принимаем эти обличительства очень серьезно,» полковник Мартин P. Schweitzer, регионарный командир усилия помощи международной безопасности (ISAF), сказанный в заявлении.
“The coalition has appointed a senior officer to investigate the allegations in coordination with (Afghan National Security Forces) officials and the local community leaders.
“The soldier in question has been temporarily removed from his post, pending the outcome of the investigation.”
The US soldier was from the 82nd Airborne Division, which is serving under the NATO force.
The statement added that any criminal investigation into the American would be carried out by the US army, and could take months.
