   Are warcrimes being perpetrated by the jailers in U.S.prisons, including the secret “sites” around the world?? Have they really stooped so low as to infect their charges with AIDS?? Is this their latest “tool” as prez shrub likes to call these practices of cruelty and torture that the U.S. seems driven to commit in violation of U.S.& international law??? && Oh yes, the GOV. does not WANT to treat these prisoners…..Could, should the medical personnel be sent to check out life in the Hague?? O.K., O.K. I know its the bush/neocon plan to be so monsterous, that we all fall down on our knees in obedience to their racist agenda. Even more difficult to believe, that these neocon Jewish dual citizens of Israel/U.S. are many of the lead actors in this play for world domination……which can only endanger their precarious minority still in the middle east by fanning the flames of religous intolerance and hatred.    Are you crazy? “neo-con Jewish dual citizens…play for world domination…”? There are fewer than 20,000,000 (yes, twenty million) Jews on the entire planet. Most of these 20,000,000 live in relative poverty, barely subsisting as members of “lower-middle class” on whatever soil that they call home. The very notion that the Jews are somehow leaders in some diabolical scheme to overthrow the planet is not only ludicrous, it is downright asinine. One only need look at the treatment of said Jews over the past 6000 years: in every country they have ever called home, they have been first welcomed - so long as they were not allowed to own land, and were not allowed to pursue professional careers (the Jews were only allowed to be merchants and lenders) - and then, once they proved to be hard-working and successful, they were shunned, murdered and cast out. More than a few times, during the past 6000 years, the Jewish people have very nearly been wiped off the face of the Earth. As recently as the genocide against the Jews of Ethiopia - not some 60 years ago (during WWII), but only 20 years ago - nations have sought to destroy the Jewish people, while major world powers looked the other way. You are a fool, at best, if you believe the Jews are either interested in or capable of “world domination.” More likely, you are a right-wing bigot, nutcase and world-class misanthrope, who not only does not know his/her history, but is criminally out of step with reality.    I think Thomas may in some way be trying to refer to the disproportionate power of the Israel lobby over the foreign policy of the US. The sabre-rattling that is currently taking place for war with Iran is primarily being done at the behest of Israeli interests (for evidence of this look at the recent AIPAC conference). How on earth is a nuclear Iran a threat to America? Surely North Korea who already have the bomb and the means to deliver it to American soil should be a higher priority for America than Iran who by IAEA reports are not pursuing a nuclear weapons program anyway. Iran are signatories to the Non Proliferation Treaty (NPT), something Israel has refused to sign on a number of occassions. Given that US foreign aid is not supposed to go to anyone who hasn’t signed it, is this not double (dual?) standards at work? (See: - http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/765538.html and http://www.antiwar.com/rep/dstar7.html) There are many Israeli/US dual nationals in very high positions in the current administration. The very fact that they are dual nationals shows that they have loyalty to two countries. How would they feel if something came up that was good for the US but bad for Israel or vice-versa? (I know that they would be supposed to act in the best interests of the US) I mean no matter how many times they say ‘America’s interests are Israel’s interests’, this is just not possible. They are 2 seperate countries, in different parts of the world, with different problems. When Bush can describe someone like Ariel Sharon as ‘a man of peace’ I can’t help but think I’m in some kind of Orwellian nightmare. Reply | Quote selected text | Link to this
