El abogado pide Taoiseach la información sobre vuelos de la Cia
Lunes 28 de julio de 2008 Discuta este informe en los foros de RINF > EL ABOGADO que representaba a un residente británico detenido en la bahía de Guantánamo ha escrito a la información que buscaba de Taoiseach Brian Cowen en los vuelos de la Cia implicados en la interpretación “extraordinaria” de su cliente que aterrizó en Shannon en 2002 y 2004. Clive Stafford Smith escribió a Sr. Cowen el viernes a nombre de Binyam Mohamed, que él está representando en el pleito militar de la recopilación del proceso de las comisiones de los E.E.U.U. y de los habeas de los E.E.U.U. Sr. Mohamed, portero de Kensington en Londres, era 30 en el último de jueves, y se ha detenido por los últimos seis años, cuatro en Guantánamo y antes ése por dos años en Marruecos y Afganistán. Coincidentemente, el caso de Sr. Mohamed sube ante el tribunal en Londres hoy, donde él está tomando procedimientos judiciales de la revisión en la decisión del gobierno BRITÁNICO para no lanzar evidencia en su posesión que ayudaría a probar que la Cia a Marruecos lo rindió, en donde él demanda lo torturaron. Las autoridades BRITÁNICAS han rechazado hasta ahora en los argumentos que no están limitadas a la ayuda en procedimientos antes de una corte en otro estado. Según la suspensión temporal de un castigo, la organización BRITÁNICA que está trabajando a nombre de detainees BRITÁNICOS en Guantánamo, los agentes británicos satisfizo con Sr. Mohamed cuando lo arrestaron en Paquistán, le fueron entrevistado con por tres horas, y dicho al parecer los E.E.U.U. que él no fuera un “nadie”. Los agentes BRITÁNICOS también le dijeron que él fuera a ser rendido por los E.E.U.U. a un país extranjero. “Cuando Binyam debido fue enviado a Marruecos por 18 meses de tortura, el Reino Unido proporcionó la información de fondo a los E.E.U.U. que fueron utilizados para manipularlo en sus sesiones de la tortura,” suspensión temporal de un castigo dicha en un documento del informe. He said that the plane that rendered him to Morocco, number N379P, flew the next day, July 23rd, 2002, to Shannon where it refuelled and the crew stayed overnight before flying on to Washington. Flights logs are enclosed with the letter. On January 22nd, 2004, Mr Mohammed was “rendered” from Morocco to the so-called “Dark Prison” in Kabul, Afghanistan, where he endured a further five months of torture. According to Mr Stafford Smith, this rendition was also facilitated by Ireland. The plane that brought him, number N313P, flew from Washington to Shannon on January 16th, where the crew again stayed overnight before flying on to Larnaca in Cyprus and from there to Rabat, where they picked up Mr Mohamed on January 22nd. Since then he has been held in Guantánamo, in conditions described by Mr Stafford Smith as “worse than any I have witnessed in 25 years of visiting clients on death row across the United States”. Mr Stafford Smith is seeking information from the Irish Government that might assist Mr Mohammed in his defence on any charge of involvement in terrorism and vindicate his claims of having been tortured. This information sought includes the names of those travelling on the flights, their passport details, the hotel or hotels they stayed in, all records, including telephone records, and all details of those involved in the flights.
