I was tortured to confess, Pervez tells appeal court الأول تعرض للتعذيب على الاعتراف ، ويقول برويز محكمة الاستئناف
By بواسطة Kim Sengupta كيم سنغوبتا | Pervez Kambaksh, the Afghan student sentenced to death after being accused of downloading internet reports on women’s rights, yesterday pleaded innocent to charges of blasphemy. | برويز kambaksh ، الافغانى طالب حكم عليه بالاعدام بعد ان اتهمتهم تنزيل من شبكة الانترنت التقارير عن حقوق المراه ، ويناشد من الابرياء امس على اتهامات بالتجديف. He told an appeal court in Kabul that he had been tortured into confessing. وقال ان محكمة استئناف في كابول انه تعرض للتعذيب على الاعتراف.
Mr Kambaksh, 24, vehemently denied that he had been responsible for producing anti-Islamic literature. السيد kambaksh ، 24 ، ونفى بشدة انه كان مسؤولا عن مكافحة انتاج الادب الاسلامي. He insisted the prosecution had been motivated by personal malice of two members of staff and their student supporters at the university in Balkh, where he was studying journalism. وهو يصر على الادعاء قد تم بدافع حقد شخصي من اثنين من اعضاء الموظفين والطلاب من أنصار في الجامعة في بلخ ، حيث كان يدرس الصحافة.
He was convicted in proceedings behind closed doors in a trial which he said had lasted just four minutes and where he had been denied legal representation. وقد ادين في الاجراءات وراء ابواب مغلقة في المحاكمه التي قال انها استغرقت اربع دقائق فقط وحيث كان قد حرم من التمثيل القانوني.
Yesterday, in the first public hearing of the case, the prosecution claimed that Mr Kambaksh had disrupted classes at the university by asking questions about women’s rights under Islam. أمس ، في أول جلسة استماع علنيه للقضية ، زعم الادعاء ان السيد kambaksh عطلت الدراسه في الجامعة واستفسرت عن حقوق المراه في ظل الاسلام. It also said he distributed an article on the subject after writing an additional three paragraphs including the phrase “This is the real face of Islam … The prophet Mohamad wrote verses of the holy Koran just for his own benefit.” كما قال انه وزع مقالا عن هذا الموضوع بعد كتابة ثلاث فقرات اضافية بما فيها عبارة "هذا هو الوجه الحقيقي للاسلام النبي محمد… وكتبت الآيات من القرآن الكريم فقط لصالح بلده."
In a highly emotional statement, Mr Kambaksh said: “I’m Muslim and I would never let myself write such an article. في بيان على درجة عالية من العاطفية ، السيد kambaksh فقال : "انني مسلم واود ان ابدأ اود ان اكتب لنفسي مثل هذه المادة. These accusations are nonsense, [they] come from two professors and other students because of private hostilities against me. ان هذه الاتهامات هراء ، [انهم] تأتي من اثنين من الاساتذه والطلاب الاخرين من القطاع الخاص بسبب القتال ضدي. I was tortured by the intelligence service in Balkh province and they made me confess that I wrote three paragraphs in this article.” كنت للتعذيب على ايدي المخابرات في مقاطعة بلخ ، وانها قدمت لي ان اعترف بأنني كتبت في ثلاث فقرات هذه المادة. "
Mr Kambaksh represented himself because his family are having difficulties finding a lawyer to represent him after threats by fundamentalist groups that anyone taking on the job would be killed. السيد kambaksh يمثل نفسه لأن اسرته صعوبات في ايجاد محام لتمثيله بعد التهديدات التي اطلقتها الجماعات الاصوليه التي تتخذ اي شخص على العمل من شأنه ان يكون قتل.
The head of the panel of three judges at Kabul, Abdul Salaam Qazizada, adjourned the trial until next Sunday to allow Mr Kambaksh further attempts to find a lawyer. رئيس الفريق من ثلاثة قضاة في كابول ، وعبد السلام qazizada ، اجلت المحاكمه إلى الأحد المقبل للسماح السيد kambaksh مزيد من المحاولات لايجاد محام. As of last night they had not succeeded. اعتبارا من الليلة الماضية انها لم تنجح. The original trial took place in January. المحاكمه الاصليه وقعت في كانون الثاني / يناير. Mr Kambaksh’s appeal was moved to Kabul at his own request, amid fears for his safety in Mazar after international outrage at the sentence. السيد kambaksh نداء ونقلت الى كابول بناء على طلبه ، وسط مخاوف على سلامته في مزار بعد الغضب الدولي في الجمله. A petition by The Independent to secure justice for him has attracted more than 100,000 signatures. التماس قدمه المستقلة لتأمين العدالة للله وقد اجتذبت اكثر من 100000 توقيعا.
Prosecutor Ahmad Khan Ayar told the appeals court that the primary provincial court sentence to hang him was “the right decision” according to Islamic law and the Afghan constitution. المدعي العام احمد خان ayar وقال ان محكمة الاستئناف حكم المحكمه الابتداءيه في المقاطعات الى تعليق له هو "القرار الصحيح" وفقا للشريعة الاسلامية والدستور الافغاني. “Kambaksh has insulted Islam by writing these paragraphs, and he has insulted the Prophet Mohamed. "Kambaksh وقد شتم الاسلام من خلال كتابة هذه الفقرات ، وانه شتم النبي محمد. I ask the appeals court to uphold the decision of the primary court of Balkh and sentence him to death.” واطلب من محكمة الاستئناف لدعم القرار الصادر عن المحكمه الابتداءيه من بلخ والحكم عليه بالاعدام ".
Under Islamic law, stipulated in Afghanistan’s constitution, blasphemy is punishable by death. وبموجب القانون الاسلامى ، المنصوص عليها في دستور افغانستان ، التجديف يعاقب عليها بالاعدام. Two other Afghan journalists, accused of blasphemy and sentenced to death, escaped prison and have been given asylum in the West. على اثنين آخرين من الصحفيين الافغان ، اتهم بالتجديف وحكم عليه بالاعدام ، هرب من السجن ومنحت حق اللجوء في الغرب.
Mr Kambaksh’s case has been raised with President Hamid Karzai by Foreign Secretary David Miliband and the US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice. السيد kambaksh قضية أثيرت مع الرئيس حامد قرضاى من قبل وزير الخارجية ديفيد miliband وزير خارجية الولايات المتحدة كوندوليزا رايس.
