He said prison officials shaved his head twice, confiscated a photo of his daughter and engaged in a variety of forms of “mental torture” by limiting his exposure to sunlight and providing sub-par soap and deodorant. وقال ان مسؤولي السجن محلوق رأسه مرتين ، وصودرت صورة ابنته ، واشترك في مجموعة متنوعة من اشكال "التعذيب العقلي" له عن طريق الحد من التعرض لاشعه الشمس وتوفير الفرعي قدم المساواة ومزيل الروائح والصابون.
Among the allegations against Khan was that he worked with al-Qaida operatives to move people across the Afghanistan-Pakistan border and planned to attack US water reservoirs and gas stations. ومن بين الادعاءات ضد خان هو انه عمل مع تنظيم القاعده لنقل الاشخاص المتعامل معهم عبر الحدود بين افغانستان وباكستان والولايات المتحدة خططت لمهاجمة خزانات المياه ومحطات توزيع الوقود.
Officials also charged that he planned to use his US travel documents to help an al-Qaida operative enter the United States. كما اتهم مسئولون انه خطط ليستخدم ما لديه من وثائق السفر الاميركية للمساعدة على وضع تنظيم القاعده المنطوق دخول للولايات المتحدة. Khan denied that was his plan, but he was vague about what he intended to do with the documents and denied al-Qaida membership. ونفى خان ان كانت خطته ، لكنه غامض حول ما يعتزم ان يفعله مع وثائق ونفى تنظيم القاعده العضويه.
“To be al-Qaida, a person needs to be trained in Afghanistan and needs to take an oath in front of Osama bin Laden,” Khan said. "ان تنظيم القاعده ، شخص يحتاج الى تدريب في أفغانستان وتحتاج الى ان تأخذ في اداء القسم امام اسامة بن لادن" وقال خان. “I have never been to Afghanistan and I have never met (bin Laden). "انا ممن لم يذهب الى افغانستان ولقد اجتمع ابدا (بن لادن). I cannot possibly be a member of al-Qaida.” انني لا يمكن ان يكون عضوا في تنظيم القاعده. "
