THE White House has given the Central Intelligence Agency approval to resume some severe interrogation methods for questioning terrorism suspects in secret prisons overseas.白宫给了中央情报部批准恢复着一些严峻的审讯方法审问恐怖嫌犯的秘密监狱。
Administration officials said the CIA could now proceed with an interrogation program that has been in limbo since the Supreme Court ruled last year that all prisoners be treated in accordance with Geneva Convention prohibitions against humiliating and degrading treatment.美国政府官员说， CIA现在可以进行讯问程序已经明朗，因为美国最高法院裁定，在去年所有囚犯的待遇，按照日内瓦公约禁止侮辱性和有辱人格的待遇。
