Cheney rifiuta di cosegnare le annotazioni classificate

Sta sviluppando la rabbia fra le carbossimetilazioni negli Stati Uniti sopra il rifiuto del vice presidente Dick Cheney per cosegnare le annotazioni classificate agli archivi nazionali.

Il sig. Cheney stava aderendo ad un ordine presidenziale per cedere le carte sensibili ma allora arrestato, ad esempio anche se lavora nella Casa Bianca, lui non fa parte del ramo esecutivo.

Sostiene che è un membro della legislatura a causa del suo ruolo doppio come presidente del senato.

Democrats are threatening to cut off funding for Mr Cheney’s office and his official residence until he clarifies where he belongs.

But White House press secretary Tony Snow dismissed the threats.

“There are no specified executive activities for the Vice-President,” he said. “The Vice-President is the president of the Senate.

“It is a wonderful academic question and I’m just not going to go any further than we’ve gone.”
