AIPAC ‘sabotaging’ Iran nuclear deal

The highly Å“influential and detrimental” Israel lobby in the United States is sabotaging an interim nuclear deal between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany. It is also pressing the US Congress for another war with Iran for the benefit of Israel, a political commentator tells Press TV.

A majority of US senators have supported a new Iran sanctions bill that was introduced by Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Robert Menendez and Senator Mark Kirk last month.

Iran has warned that fresh US sanctions against the Islamic Republic will end the current nuclear talks with the six world powers and will scupper the Geneva deal reached in November which will come into effect on January 20th.

Å“Itâ„¢s very concerning” that the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is working to Å“sabotage” the nuclear agreement, said James Morris, editor of America-hijacked.com in Los Angeles, California.

Å“The Israeli occupied US Senate” is Å“deliberately trying to sabotage the deal with additional sanctions,” Morris said.

“The problem you have in America now is you have an Israeli occupied US media…we have many Jews that are powerful in the US media and they are not conveying the truth to Americans as to what AIPAC is doing to try to get America to another war for Israel against Iran,” Morris noted.
AIPAC is highly Å“influential and detrimental” to the US, he added. Å“Itâ„¢s not in American national interest to fight another war for Israel against Iran like AIPAC is trying to get America into.”

On Friday, the director of the National Jewish Democratic Council Jack Moline, strongly criticized the Israel lobby for pushing the US Senate to impose fresh sanctions on Iran.

The American rabbi said in an interview with the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that pro-Israel groups inside the United States are pushing too hard for the Senate to pass new sanctions against Iran.
