SOCPA: The GLA’s campaign against Brian Haw Socpa : gla حملة ضد براين هاو
Having failed to get rid of Brian Haw by force the Greater London Authority is trying again by legislation, their responses to the government consultation ‘Managing Protest around Parliament’ all seem to be aimed at getting rid of the peace camp. فبعد ان فشلت في التخلص من براين هاو بالقوة لندن الكبرى السلطة تحاول مرة اخرى عن طريق التشريع ، وردودها على الحكومة بالتشاور 'ادارة احتجاج حول البرلمان' ويبدو ان جميع تهدف الى التخلص من معسكر السلام. And the government agrees with them, SOCrAP isn’t buried yet and they’re already robbing its corpse. وتوافق الحكومة معهم ، socrap لا يدفن بعد وانهم بالفعل عن سرقة جثة.

“The Government received 512 responses during the 12 week consultation period. "تلقت الحكومة 512 الردود خلال فترة ال 12 الاسبوع فترة التشاور. Representations were received from 25 campaign groups, from six MPs and two Peers, from a number of other interested stakeholders including the Metropolitan Police Service,the Greater London Authority,Westminster City Council and the Law Society of Scotland.” احتجاجات وردت في الفترة من 25 حملة الجماعات ، ستة من النواب واثنين من الزملاء ، من عدد من اصحاب المصلحه الآخرين بما في داءره شرطة العاصمة ، لندن الكبرى السلطة ، ومجلس مدينة وستمنستر وجمعية القانون في اسكتلندا. “The Greater London Authority (GLA) commented that any discussions on management of protests in Parliament Square needed to take into account proposals to redevelop Parliament Square “to create a more accessible, safe and high quality place”. "سلطة لندن الكبرى (gla) الى ان اي مناقشات حول ادارة من الاحتجاجات في ساحة البرلمان ومن الضروري ان تراعى مقترحات لتجديد البرلمان مربع" لخلق مزيد من الوصول اليها وآمنة وذات جودة عالية ". They also commented that while Trafalgar Square was a good model for successfully managing demonstrations, its layout was different to Parliament Square in terms of its safe pedestrian access and hard landscaped surfaces. كما انه في الوقت الذي علق TRAFALGAR مربع كان نموذجا جيدا للنجاح في ادارة التظاهرات ، والتخطيط لكانت مختلفة في ساحة البرلمان من حيث امكانيه الوصول بطريقة مامونه للمشاة والأسطح ذات المناظر الطبيعيه الصعبة. The GLA believed that Trafalgar Square had a long and established historical tradition as a place to protest as opposed to Parliament Square.” وقد gla TRAFALGAR مربع يعتقد ان لها تاريخ طويل في انشاء والتقاليد التاريخية بوصفها مكانا للاحتجاج على عكس ساحة البرلمان. "
“The Greater London Authority commented that a key concern for the Mayor was proportionality and duration, arguing that if a protest took place it would limit public use of Parliament Square and protests should therefore be limited in duration. "لندن الكبرى ان السلطة وعلق أحد الشواغل الرئيسية لرئيس البلدية وكان التناسب ومدتها ، معتبرة انه اذا وقعت احتجاجا على انه سيضع حدا لاستخدام العام من ساحة البرلمان واحتجاجات ولذلك ينبغي ان تكون محدودة زمنيا. “ "

Sir George Young (Con): On part 1 of the Bill, although no one would object to orderly and peaceful demonstrations in Parliament square, many people object to permanent, unsightly encampments in the middle of a great, historic city. السير جورج يونغ (con) : في الجزء 1 من مشروع القانون ، على رغم أن لا أحد من شأنه ان يعترض على نحو منظم والمظاهرات السلميه في ساحة البرلمان ، وكثير من الناس الى وجوه الدائم ، unsightly المخيمات في منتصف كبير ، المدينة التاريخية. Will the Bill put that right? وسوف وضع مشروع القانون هذا الحق؟
Mr. Straw: I understand that there are strong feelings about that. السيد سترو : افهم ان هناك مشاعر قوية ازاء ذلك. Those encampments are unsightly, but they also represent people exercising a right to demonstrate. تلك هي معسكرات unsightly ، ولكنها تمثل أيضا لممارسة حق الشعب لاثبات. Lord Hunt of Kings Heath: My Lords, on the substantive question that the noble Baroness raises on sessional orders, there has clearly been a lot of concern about whether some provisions of the SOCPA are necessary and whether they are an inhibitor to legitimate protests and demonstrations outside Parliament. اللورد هانت الملوك هيث : بلادي اللوردات ، على ان مسألة موضوعية النبيلة البارونه يثير الدورات على الأوامر ، من الواضح ان هناك الكثير من القلق حول ما اذا كانت بعض الاحكام الواردة في socpa ضروريه ، وعما اذا كانت هي المانع لالمشروعة الاحتجاجات والمظاهرات خارج البرلمان. However, there is also concern that if those provisions are simply repealed and problems arise in the future with regard to open and free access to Parliament and issues around noise there will not be sufficient powers to deal with those problems sensibly and effectively. ومع ذلك ، هناك أيضا قلق من انه اذا كانت هذه الاحكام هي ببساطة الغاء والمشاكل التي تنشأ في المستقبل فيما يتعلق بالانفتاح وحرية الوصول الى البرلمان حول قضايا والضوضاء لن يكون هناك ما يكفي من الصلاحيات للتعامل مع هذه المشاكل بصورة معقولة وفعالة.
