London Demo Slams Musharraf’s Rights Abuses لندن عرض صفقات مشرف انتهاكات حقوق
Rights activists have staged demonstrations in London to denounce Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf’s ‘human rights abuses’. الناشطين في مجال حقوق الانسان قد مظاهرات فى لندن لادانة الرئيس الباكستاني برويز مشرف 's' انتهاكات حقوق الانسان '.
The demonstration, organized by human rights group Amnesty International, came on Saturday at Downing Street, prior to a meeting between Musharraf and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown on Monday. المظاهره ، التى نظمتها جماعة حقوق الانسان ومنظمة العفو الدولية ، وجاء يوم السبت في اسقاط الشارع ، وذلك قبل عقد اجتماع بين مشرف ورئيس الوزراء البريطاني غوردون براون يوم الاثنين.
“British Prime Minister Gordon Brown should tell visiting Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf that free and fair elections will be impossible without the full restoration of Pakistan’s judiciary,” said Brad Adams of Human Rights Watch. "رئيس الوزراء البريطاني غوردون براون ان يقول زيارة الرئيس الباكستاني برويز مشرف ان اجراء انتخابات حرة ونزيهة سيكون مستحيلا دون الاستعاده الكاملة لباكستان لدى السلطة القضاءيه ،" وقال براد ادامز من هيومان رايتس ووتش.
On November 3, 2007 Musharraf suspended Pakistan’s Constitution, fired much of the country’s senior judges and arrested thousands of opponents, most of whom were eventually released because of international pressure. وفي 3 تشرين الثاني / نوفمبر ، 2007 مشرف علق دستور باكستان ، وأطلقت الكثير من البلد كبار القضاة واعتقل الالاف من المعارضين ، وأغلبهم في النهاية افرجت بسبب الضغط الدولي.
“An independent judiciary is vital for people to have an avenue to contest the results of this election conducted in an environment of bias and intimidation,” said Adams. "نظام قضائي مستقل امر حيوي للشعب ليكون سبيلا لمسابقة نتائج هذه الانتخابات التي اجريت في جو من التحيز والترهيب ،" وقال ادامز.
He urged Brown to press Musharraf to rescind these measures, set up an independent election commission and a neutral caretaker government to oversee elections. وحث براون الى الصحافة مشرف لالغاء هذه التدابير ، وانشاء لجنة مستقلة للانتخابات وحكومة انتقاليه محايدة للاشراف على الانتخابات.
