Activists free battery hens نشطاء الحرة بطاريه دجاج
Animal rights activists have freed 15 hens from an Auckland farm in an effort to persuade more people to boycott battery eggs. نشطاء حقوق الحيوان قد افرج 15 اوكلاند الدجاج من المزارع في محاولة لاقناع المزيد من الناس الى المقاطعه بطاريه البيض.
New Zealand Open Rescue spokeswoman Deirdre Sims says the group took the hens because of the conditions they were living in. She says farmers in New Zealand cage 2.8 million hens, all of which are unable to nest, bath or move freely. نيوزيلندا المفتوحه الانقاذ deirdre سيمز وتقول المتحدثه باسم المجموعة اتخذت الدجاج بسبب الظروف التي كانوا يعيشون فيها وتقول المزارعين في نيوزيلندا 2،8 مليون قفص الدجاج ، وهي جميعها غير قادرة على العش ، حمام او التحرك بحرية.
Sims says hen farmers should be ashamed of making money from caging hens. سيمز الدجاجه يقول المزارعون ان نخجل من تحقيق ايرادات من حبس الدجاج.
The activists say they had to take action because legislation designed to protect hens from cruel treatment is failing. ويقول الناشطون انهم لاتخاذ اجراء لان التشريعات الراميه الى حمايه الدجاج من ضروب المعامله الى الفشل. The activists would not reveal which farm they raided and say they only freed 15 of the thousands of chickens there. النشطاء لن تكشف عن المزرعه التي داهمت وانهم يقولون فقط تحررت من 15 الاف دجاجة هناك.
