More BBC Deceit: The 9/11 Hoax That Didn’t Quite Work مزيد من الخداع بي بي سي : 9 / 11 خدعة تماما ان لا عمل
On September 11, 2007 , the BBC published an article called “ في 11 ايلول / سبتمبر 2007 ، هيئة الاذاعة البريطانية نشرت مقالا دعا " 9/11 demolition theory challenged 9 / 11 وهدم نظرية الطعن “, which described a research paper written by University of Cambridge senior lecturer Keith Seffen. "، التي وصفها ورقة بحث مكتوبة من قبل جامعة كامبريدج محاضر اقدم كيث seffen.
Dr. Seffen, the BBC said, had constructed a mathematical model of the World Trade Center collapses which showed that “once the collapse of the twin towers began, it was destined to be rapid and total.” الدكتور seffen ، وقال لهيئة الاذاعة البريطانية ، قد شيدت نموذج رياضي من انهيار مركز التجارة العالمي والتي دلت على ان "بمجرد انهيار البرجين التوأمين بدأ ، وكان مقدرا ان تكون سريعه والمجموع".
According to the BBC, Dr. Seffen proceeded from this mathematical model to describe the destruction of the twin towers as a “very ordinary thing to happen”. ووفقا لهيئة الاذاعة البريطانية ، والدكتور seffen انطلاقا من هذا النموذج الرياضي لوصف تدمير البرجين التوأمين بانها "عادية جدا ان يحدث شىء".
The BBC also reported that Dr. Seffen’s findings “are published” in the Journal of Engineering Mechanics. كما افادت هيئة الاذاعة البريطانية ان النتائج التي توصل اليها الدكتور seffen "تنشر" في مجلة الهندسه والميكانيكا.
The Journal of Engineering Mechanics (JEM) is a monthly publication of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). اليوميه للهندسة الميكانيك (حركة العدالة والمساواة) هي نشرة شهريه للجمعية الامريكية للمهندسين المدنيين (ASCE). A search of the ASCE website turned up no mention of a Keith Seffen, nor any mention of any “Seffen”. البحث ASCE من الموقع ولم يتمخض ذكر كيث أ seffen ، ولا اي ذكر لاي "seffen".
I wrote a brief item about this that morning. انني كتبت حول هذا البند وجيزة في صباح ذلك اليوم.
1) September 11, 2007: 1) في 11 ايلول / سبتمبر 2007 :

Shortly after my piece was published, the BBC page was changed to say that that Dr. Seffen’s findings “are to be published” in the Journal of Engineering Mechanics. بعد فترة وجيزة من نشر بلدي قطعة ، تم تغيير الصفحه بي بي سي ان اقول ان الدكتور seffen ان النتائج التي توصل اليها "لنشر" في مجلة الهندسه والميكانيكا.
I noted the change in an update to my item, where I also provided a link to two different mirrors of the original text. لقد لاحظت التغيير الذي حدث في بلدي لاستكمال هذا البند ، حيث كنت أيضا وصلة إلى مرايا مختلفتين من النص الأصلي. I also noticed the distinctive smell of manure. كما انني لاحظت رائحة مميزة من السماد الطبيعي. So I kept digging. ظللت حتى الحفر.
It became apparent obvious that the BBC piece was based on اصبح من الواضح الجلي أن هيئة الاذاعة البريطانية على أساس القطعه a press release from Cambridge بيان صحفى من كامبردج , which said (in the opening paragraph) that Dr. Seffen’s findings were “published”, and (much later) that they were “to be published”. ، وفيه : (في الفقره الافتتاحية) ان الدكتور seffen النتائج التي تتوصل اليها "صدر" ، (بعد ذلك بكثير) بانها "لنشر".
Apparently this self-contradiction didn’t raise any eyebrows. ويبدو ان هذا التناقض الذاتي لا تثير اي الحاجبين. But it was not the only problem with the press release. ولكنه لم يكن المشكلة الوحيدة مع البيان الصحفى.
Virtually every paragraph was either misleading or downright false. والواقع أن كل فقرة اكيد اما مضلله او غير صحيحة. And it showed very clearly that Seffen’s approach was not scientific, but political. ويبين بكل وضوح ان الاسلوب الذي يتبعه seffen لا العلميه ، ولكن السياسية. I wrote about the press release on September 14th. لقد كتبت عن البيان الصحفى الرابع عشر من سبتمبر.
2) September 14, 2007: 2) في 14 ايلول / سبتمبر 2007 :

Nearly eight weeks later, after repeated requests for clarification (from myself and others) had been ignored, I posted a compendium of the coverage Seffen and his paper had received, noting that it had been largely uncritical but remarkably sparse. ما يقرب من ثمانيه اسابيع في وقت لاحق ، بعد طلبات متكررة للتوضيح (من نفسي وغيرها) قد تم تجاهلها ، انني نشرت خلاصة وافيه للتغطية seffen وتلقت ورقته ، مشيرا الى انه تم الى حد كبير دون تمحيص ولكنها متناثره بشكل ملحوظ.

The following day I noted some of the many unanswered questions and documented a series of requests for clarification which had been ignored by Dr. Seffen and by Dr. Ross Corotis, the editor of the JEM. في اليوم التالي لاحظت بعض من كثير من الاسءله التي وموثقه سلسلة من طلبات التوضيح الذي تم تجاهله من قبل الدكتور seffen والدكتور corotis روس ، المحرر من حركة العدل والمساواة.

Where’s The Paper? اين الورقه؟ Did The BBC And A Cambridge Don Commit Fraud To Cover Up Mass Murder? لم اذاعة / بى بى سى وكامبريدج دون ارتكاب الغش للتغطية على القتل الجماعي؟
Several readers of the latter two stories joined in the effort to obtain further information. عدد قراء هذه الاخيرة انضمت الروايتان في الجهود الراميه الى الحصول على المزيد من المعلومات. Some of them had academic credentials, and their requests stirred Dr. Corotis to action. فالبعض منهم الاكاديميه وثائق التفويض ، وبتحريض من الدكتور طلباتها corotis الى العمل.
Two days later, I was pleased to report on a message from the ASCE, saying that according to their records, Dr. Seffen’s paper is scheduled for publication in the February 2008 JEM. وبعد يومين ، وكان من دواعي سروري ان يقدم تقريرا عن رسالة من ASCE ، قائلا انه وفقا لسجلاتها ، ورقة الدكتور seffen ومن المقرر ان ينشر في شباط / فبراير 2008 حركة العدالة والمساواة.
5) November 8, 2007: 5 (8 تشرين الثاني / نوفمبر 2007 :
WTC ‘Collapse’ Research Cited In September Is Scheduled To Be Published In February WTC 'انهيار' واورد البحث في ايلول / سبتمبر ومن المقرر ان ينشر في شباط / فبراير
This was good news for two reasons. هذا هو تبشير للسببين. It marked the first public commitment from the ASCE to publish the paper. انها بمثابة اول العامة من الالتزام ASCE ان ينشر ورقة. And it provided confirmation of the fact that the paper had not been published when it was cited (and referred to as published) by the BBC and others. وقدمت تأكيدا لحقيقة ان ورقة لم تنشر عندما أستشهد (ويشار اليها المنشوره) من قبل هيئة الاذاعة البريطانية وغيرها.
Then another reader — one with even more impressive credentials — started digging in a different place, and unearthed a copy of the paper itself. ثم قارئ آخر -- واحد مع اكثر من الاعجاب وثائق التفويض -- بدأت اعمال الحفر في مكان مختلف ، والكشف عن نسخة من الورقه نفسها.
The following day I posted the first few pages of Seffen’s paper (in HTML) on my website في اليوم التالي انني نشرت أول بضع صفحات من seffen ورقة (في لغة تأشير النص الفائق) على موقعي
6) November 9, 2007: 6 (تشرين الثاني / نوفمبر 9 ، 2007 :
Introducing Keith Seffen’s “Progressive Collapse Of The WTC: A Simple Analysis” عرض كيث seffen "الانهيار التدريجي للWTC : تحليل بسيط"
I also provided a link to the entire paper (a small PDF file). كما انني قدمت وصلة على كامل ورقة (PDF ملف صغير).
True to the description provided by the press release, the paper turned out to be worthless as science, but not entirely meaningless. صحيح إلى وصف المقدمة من البيان الصحفى ، ورقة تبين ان قيمة العلم ، ولكن لا معنى له تماما.
7) November 11, 2007: 7) 11 تشرين الثاني / نوفمبر 2007 :
