Αξιότιμε Κύριε. Matthews,

Τι έχει συμβεί σε σας; Την Κυριακή σας παρουσιάστε ότι αυτό το προηγούμενο Σαββατοκύριακο παρουσιάσατε παραμένετε στο βήμα κλειδαριών με όλους ή τους περισσότερους από τους συναδέλφους σας και συνεχίζετε να καταδεικνύετε την άγνοια παρά τα γεγονότα. Πώς μπορείτε να είστε τόσο συνολικά από το βήμα με τον μεγαλύτερο μέρος του κόσμου στο θέμα της δολοφονίας JFK; Why do you and most of the mainstream continue to ignore the findings of our own government which revisited the assassination in 1979 when the House formed the Committee on Assassination?

Acoustical and scientific evidence led to a conclusion of ‘high probability’ for conspiracy in the killing of Kennedy. And it might behoove you to take a another look at the video where the evidence is overwhelmingly clear.

That’s what happened to Kennedy’s head when a bullet hit him fired from the front of the car. It’s clear as day for anyone to see on the video made from the Zapruder film. The House Committee in fact determined there was a second shooter.

So, Oswald did not act alone. Period. And the bastards got away with it because of the complicity of people like you who for whatever reason cannot contemplate the kind of evil and power that could commit such a crime and get away with it. The same blindness and deception by the media has allowed the truth about 9/11 to remain obscured with key facts ignored and important whistle-blowers silenced.

While I have respected you for being amongst the best hard nosed interviewers on television, that respect is rapidly eroding, and for good reason. First, so far at least, you have utterly failed to challenge Rudy Guiliani’s hero status relative to the events of 9/11 allowing a frequent guest on your show to claim that “he [Guiliani] owns 9/11″. And now on your Sunday show, in the wake of new books on the subject, you insist that Oswald acted alone and in so doing commit a most egregious form of irresponsible journalism. Ok, yours was not an investigative report but neither you nor a single guest on your show today represented fairly the views of most Americans not to mention the findings of our own government which found Oswald did not act alone. How can we Americans have any respect for a fourth estate that continues, year after year, anniversary after anniversary, to elevate deception in the face of countervailing facts? The House Committee on Assassinations found hard evidence for a conspiracy behind the killing of John F. Kennedy. It’s far past time for you and your talking-head ilk inside the beltway, granted the honored position of having a much louder voice in the affairs of this Republic, to do your homework, or at least to give a voice to those who can make a reasoned case challenging the minority view’s status quo. Given fair treatment and equal time there is no doubt that you and this country will wake up to the evil in this country that led directly to the political assassinations of the most esteemed leaders of the 20th Century. This was not the evil of lone deranged men. As for JFK, please read the report of the Committee on Assassinations for starters. As for Martin Luther King Jr. please read, An Act of State, by William Pepper. The overwhelming evidence is clear and the fact is the mainstream media has been complicit in covering up or ignoring facts which would have led to very different conclusions about who was behind the murder of these great leaders. And in regards to the attacks of September 11th I challenge you to read, “Debunking 9/11 Debunking” by David Ray Griffin and invite him on your show in advance of the 6th anniversary. If you think 9/11 conspiracy theories have no merit or perhaps are dishonoring the dead as some have said, why not put that position to the test and invite Dr. Griffin to join you on Hardball?

You are like a band memeber on the Titanic, trying to play a comforting tune for the doomed passengers, as the ship (our nation) goes down. Please for the sake of our Nation and its Constitution, wake up, do your homework and have the courage to challenge your views and your beliefs, about the political assassinations of JFK and King and about 9/11. Please do your homework or at the very least give fair time and opportunity for opposing views. Only then Mr. Matthews will you begin to earn the respect I wish I could give to you and to our country’s now failing Fourth Estate.

P.S. I would be remiss in not mentioning Senator Wellstone. Privately poll his fellow Senators who survived him and I would wager a significant majority would believe it was a political assassination. And yet there is no call for an independent investigation. Perhaps they fear if they did they would become target for the next letter with US weapons grade anthrax.
