The airlines should take much of the blame for the attacks.Just because they weren’t aware that an attack was coming doesn’t excuse them of the pathetic security. Why does anyone other than the Pilot and Copilot still have access to the cockpit during flights? The cockpit door should be locked shut during every flight until landing. Why were the box cutters/knives or whatever the terrorists were carrying not found and confiscated before boarding?I’m not saying the airlines,FAA,and DOT are completely to blame. The CIA,FBI,and NSA also share part of the blame because they also didn’t do their jobs thoroughly. The airlines should stop whining and start doing their jobs.If everyone does their jobs then there will be no reason for finger pointing.
